Hello again, blog!

Hi everyone! I apologize for the silence here. We've been without our internet for a week or so (it actually died while I was writing a blog post, go figure...). We're looking into switching providers, so we may be without internet again for a few days in the near future.

We've been fairly busy this past week, getting used to having everyone home all the time, starting swim lessons, getting caught up on projects that I've let go...it's a challenge, but I love having my family with me. All three kids have just gone through a growth spurt (I think it's the fresh air!), and I can't believe how big they're getting. But I say that every post, don't I?

So while I've had my break from posting, I was thinking about some future post ideas I'd like to do. Here are some ideas I'm toying with:

  • I'd like to start a weekly series about finances and how they can affect a family. We took Financial Peace University when I was pregnant with Ryan, and that course turned our already pretty good finances around. I'll even give some tips on how to stretch your budget further and have some out-of-the-box tips on how to save even more money, including some awesome websites, too!
  • By request from a few readers, I'll be posting some of the preschool lessons I wrote for this past year when I home schooled Nate. I'll probably start those around the time school starts back up.
  • I'll be talking about some of those things moms tend to not talk about often: areas they've failed or struggled in. I feel as moms, we want to feel like we measure up and we've always got things under control, so we only talk about the areas we did well in. I've hand some challenges, including a big one from this year with Ryan, that I have a feeling other moms have gone through, and I want to assure other moms that you are not alone.
I'll still have my usual posts about our adventures and things we're doing like usual, too.

Is there anything you'd like to see on the blog? Do you have any questions for me, either about who I am, my family, or anything dealing with any topic I have or will be talking about on the blog?

    1. Oh, trust me, there will be plenty of poop stories! Some bad, some good. What kind of mom would I be if I didn't talk about my kid's poop? :0)
