A couple weeks ago was Nate's end of the year kindergarten celebration.
Where did the year go???
Pete's mom and dad came, and Paigey even stopped over to check out all the fun!

Yay for Paigey coming to cheer on her brother!!! |
The kids performed Eric Carle's
The Grouchy Ladybug. Nate was the narrator; he wanted to get all dressed up in his suit and snazzy dress shoes, but we compromised with a polo and tie (it was a hot day!).

They sang lots of cute songs and read a poem:

Each student received an award; Nate's was the Computer Assistant award. He's been helping run the Smart Board, and his job every day is to make sure it gets turned on and off. He even helps his teachers remember web sites (he's his father's kid with this computer knowledge!).

They finished the program with a slide show of all the fun activities and field trips from the year.

After the program, the kids got their 'graduation caps' and we had cake and lemonade :)
